The Macchi Mc 205 V "Veltro" is the best Italian fighter of WWII. With two 12,7 mm and two 20 mm cannons it had a great punch on enemy aircraft. Big ailerons and elevators provided great maneuverability. The Daimler Benz DB 605 engine generates 1475 Hp giving it plenty of power, with the massive propeller. With this engine,the warbird required lots of radiators. Two of them are annular and mounted under the nose taking the prop wash. The wide landing gear makes it easy to land. This one is painted in the "African Colony" scheme, "2nd squadron", "vespa arrabbiata" (=Angry Wasp)
